Need to brush up on those management skills?

If you’re an unemployed manager who needs to brush up on their skills, or aspire to be a manager in future, we can help with a one-day course next month.

Date published: 27 Jun 2015

The Executive Skills course, which is open to Aylesbury and Southwark residents, will help up to eight candidates on a first-come, first-served basis.

The core elements of the programme are:

  • Teamwork using an interactive survival game
  • Understanding commercial awareness
  • Psychometric testing
  • Business case study
  • Speed interviews

The course is at London South Bank University’s Clarence Centre for Enterprise and Innovation, from 10am to 5.30pm on Friday 3 July.

Carol Morgan, Training and Employment Project  Manager for the Aylesbury regeneration project, said: “This course will be a great help to anyone looking for a job in management for the first time, or if they are more experienced but need to update their skills”.

“This is our first course  aimed specifically at managers and we are excited to be helping people from the Aylesbury and wider Southwark to improve their skills and employability.”

If you feel you would benefit from the course, or know anyone likely to benefit, please email cmorgan@nhg.org.uk as soon as possible.
