Aylesbury community grants
As part of our commitment to the community, we make £15,000 available every year to fund projects which benefit the Aylesbury community.
What sorts of projects get funded? Your project can be anything so long as it will bring benefits to the community. For example, your project may enable people to learn new skills, make friends or keep active. Maybe it will do a combination of all of these and much more! Previous grants have funded jewelry courses, art projects, equipment for youth clubs, bike maintenance clubs and a cinema club.
What do I need to do to apply for a grant?
Groups or individuals who are interested in running events, projects or activities for local people can apply for these grants. There are small grants of up to £500 and larger grants of up to £1,500 on offer. You’ll need to fill in an application form and be able to explain how Aylesbury residents will benefit from your project. All applications are then considered by a panel made up of Notting Hill Genesis staff and representatives from the community.
When can I apply for a grant?
The Aylesbury Community Grants programme usually runs twice a year, once in spring and once in autumn. Keep an eye on our website or contact us for more information.
