First Development Site - Construction Site

The First Development Site is the first part of the Aylesbury regeneration to be developed by Notting Hill Genesis. It is at the south west of the regeneration area and sits between Albany Road, Portland Street, Westmoreland Road and Bradenham Close.

Once completed, the First Development will contain over 840 homes, a community facility, a public square and two parks.

The First Development Site is split into three packages: A, B and C. Construction works have started on Package A and are being carried out by Hill.

In July 2020, Notting Hill Genesis and Southwark Council agreed that the homes being built on Packages A and B will become council homes. The purpose of this is to increase the number of social rented homes on the First Development Site in order to speed up rehousing for residents living on the Aylesbury Estate. You can read more about the homes on Packages A and B by visiting https://aylesburyfdsaandb.commonplace.is.

Package C will continue to be a Notting Hill Genesis development with a range of tenure types.
