Grants will help Aylesbury community groups

The latest round of Notting Hill Housing’s Aylesbury Community Grants Programme is now open, helping groups improve the lives of people living in the area.

Date published: 24 Mar 2016

Local groups interested in running events or projects can apply for small grants of up to £500 (Level 1) and larger grants of up to £1,500 (Level 2).

Applicants must be able to show that at least 75 per cent of those benefitting from the grant are from the Aylesbury.

Megan Doyle, Head of Community Investment for Notting Hill Housing, said: "We are delighted to be launching the next round of Community Grants to support local groups to run projects and activities to benefit Aylesbury residents.

"The first two rounds have supported a wide array of different groups to make a real difference to their local community and have included projects such as a resident-led community garden, an older people’s arts project and a children’s multisports camp.

"For this third round, we are once again open to applications from a broad range of groups, but would also like to invite applications from groups interested in delivering summer activities.
