Christmas hampers delivered across Aylesbury community

More than 100 hampers have been delivered to all corners of the Aylesbury neighbourhood to spread festive cheer this Christmas.

Date published: 22 Dec 2020

The hampers contained a wide range of items from staples including rice, pasta and pulses to fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as some Christmas favourites such as mince pies and chocolate treats.

Rosalyn Springer, Resident Involvement Officer at Notting Hill Genesis, who helped coordinate the initiative said: "This has been a true community effort, with people from across eight organisations working together to make this happen. We hope the hampers put a smile of the faces of Aylesbury residents at the end of what has been a challenging year."

The partners who have contributed to the contents and distribution of the hampers are: InSpire, Pembroke House, Community Cycleworks, Burgess Sports, Vistry Partnerships, J P Dunn, Mayor’s Fund for London and Notting Hill Genesis.
