Notting Hill Housing is launching a Working Communities Bursaries for residents of Southwark who would benefit from financial assistance to help towards securing a job or gaining a qualification.

Date published: 25 Feb 2016

Residents can apply for bursaries of up to £250.

Some examples of what the bursaries will cover include: fees to attend a training course or gain a badge or qualification, travel expenses to support a work placement, purchasing job-relevant equipment or attire, etc.

Meghan Doyle, Head of Community Investment, said: “This is a great opportunity for people in Southwark who are motivated to get into work but need some financial help to make it happen. We hope this bursary will help many residents get back into work or kick-start a new career.”
