Let's Talk Money Workshop

Date: Wednesday 01 December, 2021

Time: 01:00 pm - 02:00 pm

Would you like to talk to others about money but find the subject awkward or embarrassing?

After the success of events earlier this year, we are partnering with The Money Charity again to bring you the
‘Let’s Talk Money’ workshop.

Even though the pandemic has affected our finances, 9 in 10 UK adults, that's 47 million of us, don't find it any easier to talk about money, or don't even discuss it at all. Talk Money Week, running from 8-12 November, aims to change that. It's a week designed to increase people’s sense of financial wellbeing by encouraging them to open up about personal finance, from pocket money to pensions!

The workshop will cover topics such as:

  • financial resilience
  • budgeting and keeping track
  • credit, borrowing and debt
  • savings and investments
  • making your money go further
  • how to access free, credible support

The workshop will be delivered online via Zoom. Spaces are limited and open to all residents over the age of 18.

To book: Call Valerie Alaro on 07892 766804 or email Valerie.Alaro@nhg.org.uk no later than Friday 5 November.
